Harmony Construction Update -April

Construction is progressing well at Harmony. Please see our April Construction Update below for details.

This month, our display home builders will visit their lots at Harmony Display World and soon commence construction of the display village.

Despite delays due to wet weather, the installation of sewer rising main across Claymore Road is now complete.

The following activities are planned this month for works along Claymore Road:

– Kerb construction

– Asphalt works at Bainbridge Circuit, Albany Street, Fitzwilliam Drive, Claymore Road, University Way and Red Cedar Street

– Installation of traffic signals and electrical conduits

– Installation of street light

– Line-marking

Detours:
There may be two detours used intermittently in April during work hours only along University Way. This will not be a permanent detours. The detours will allow our contractors to facilitate kerb works along University Way.

Potential road closures:
AVID advises of a potential road closure to occur intermittently throughout April during work hours only along University Way. This will not be a permanent road closure. Buses will be accepted and escorted through the closure. This will allow our contractors to complete construction of concrete median islands and kerb works along University Way.

There will also be lane closures and shoulder closures from time to time at each intersection along Claymore Road during April. This will facilitate the completion of asphalt works at each intersection, and the installation of traffic signal and electrical conduits.

Weather permitting, it is expected that most intersection upgrades will be nearing completion by the end of April, with testing and commissioning of traffic signals, and electrical works to follow.
